Summer Edition Protein Balls: Piña Colada

Upgrade your standard snack routine with these tropical, no-bake protein balls. They are clean, packed with protein, and require absolutely no cooking.

Ingredients

1 cup oats (quick or rolled)

 1/2 cup shredded coconut

 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder

1/3 cup crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained

 1/4 cup coconut cream

1–2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)

 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Combine the Dry Ingredients

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the oats, shredded coconut, and vanilla protein powder until evenly distributed.

2. Introduce the Wet Flavors

Add the well-drained crushed pineapple, coconut cream, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir the ingredients thoroughly with a spatula until a thick, cohesive dough forms.

3. The Pro Chilling Step

Pro Tip: Place the entire bowl of dough into the refrigerator to chill for 20 minutes before trying to shape it. This sets the fats and lets the oats absorb the moisture, making the rolling process much easier and less sticky.

4. Roll into Balls

Once chilled, scoop out small portions of the dough and roll them between your palms into bite-sized round balls, resembling the textured golden treats shown in the top-left bag of image_30.png.

5. Storage

Place your finished Piña Colada balls into a sealable freezer bag or an airtight container. Keep them refrigerated until you are ready to snack to maintain their firm, satisfying texture.
