Garlic Butter Honey Glazed Chicken with Creamy Garlic Pasta

Ingredients

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

8 oz (225g) spaghetti or fettuccine pasta

 3 tbsp butter, divided

 2 tbsp olive oil

 4 cloves garlic, minced (divided)

 2 tbsp honey

 1 tbsp soy sauce

 1 tsp paprika

 1/2 cup heavy cream

 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

To taste: Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta: Boil the pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. Season & Sear Chicken: Season chicken pieces with paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear for 5–7 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.

3. Glaze the Chicken: Lower heat, add 2 cloves minced garlic, honey, and soy sauce to the chicken. Stir continuously for 1–2 minutes until the chicken is coated in a sticky, glossy glaze. Transfer chicken to a plate.

4. Make Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add remaining minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir.

5. Combine & Toss: Bring cream mixture to a gentle simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Toss in cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water a splash at a time if needed to reach desired creaminess.

6. Serve: Plate the creamy garlic pasta alongside the caramelized glazed chicken bites. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
