For the Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
4 large eggs
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup water (or milk, for a richer crumb)

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups powdered sugar
3-4 tbsp heavy cream or milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a standard 9×13-inch baking sheet or cake pan and set it aside.
2. Mix the Cake Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup of softened butter, 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter, and the water or milk. Beat with an electric hand mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until the batter is smooth, thick, and fully combined.
3. Bake: Pour the batter into your prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool completely before frosting.
4. Whip up the Frosting: In a medium bowl, beat the remaining 1/2 cup of softened butter and 1/2 cup of peanut butter together until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, alternating with the heavy cream or milk, beating on low speed. Mix in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, then increase the speed to high and whip for 1 to 2 minutes until the frosting is light and fluffy.
5. Frost and Serve: Spread the peanut butter frosting evenly across the cooled sheet cake. Slice into squares and serve!
