Crunchy Honeycrisp Apple Salad

This crisp, refreshing apple salad is the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and crunchy textures. Packed with fresh fruit, crisp celery, and toasted nuts, it makes an excellent side dish for gatherings or a light, hydrating snack to keep in the fridge.

Ingredients

The Fruit & Crunch: 2 large Honeycrisp apples (cored and diced), 1 cup diced celery, 1 cup seedless red or green grapes (halved), ½ cup chopped pecans (toasted), ½ cup dried cranberries

The Creamy Dressing: ⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise for a classic Waldorf style), 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (prevents the apples from browning), 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, a pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the plain Greek yogurt, fresh lemon juice, honey, and a tiny pinch of salt until completely smooth.

Step 2: Chop the Base

Wash all your fresh produce thoroughly. Leave the skins on the Honeycrisp apples for extra color and fiber. Core and dice the apples, slice the celery into clean crescents, and slice the grapes in half.

Step 3: Combine the Salad

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, celery, halved grapes, dried cranberries, and chopped pecans.

Step 4: Toss and Coat

Pour the creamy dressing over the salad ingredients. Use a large spoon or spatula to gently fold everything together until every piece of fruit and nut is beautifully coated in the dressing.

Step 5: Chill and Serve

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and lets the celery absorb the sweet dressing. Give it a quick toss before dishing it
