Ingredients
½ medium avocado, pitted
1 medium banana (frozen slices work best for a thick texture)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk, soy milk, or coconut water
½ cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
1 tbsp whole almonds or pumpkin seeds (plus extra for topping)
Optional for extra protein: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Optional for sweetness: A few drops of liquid stevia or monk fruit sweetener
Instructions
1. Prep the Ingredients: Slice the banana into rounds and scoop out half of a fresh avocado.
2. Layer the Blender: Add the liquid base (almond milk or coconut water) to your high-speed blender first, followed by the Greek yogurt. Drop in the banana slices, avocado, and whole almonds.
3. Blend Until Silky: Blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth, thick, and ultra-creamy, with no visible bits of nuts left behind. If the smoothie is too thick for your preference, add a small splash of liquid and blend for another 5 seconds.
4. Pour and Garnish: Pour the vibrant green smoothie into a glass. Top with a small handful of chopped almonds, pumpkin seeds, or a light dusting of cinnamon for that perfect added crunch. Drink immediately while chilled!
