This creamy, sugar-free strawberry dessert is a refreshing treat that fits perfectly into a diabetic-friendly or low-calorie diet. It is light, airy, and requires only three simple ingredients to prepare.
Ingredients
• 1 packet (0.3 oz) Sugar-Free Strawberry Gelatin
• 1/2 cup boiling water
• 1 cup unsweetened applesauce (chilled)
• 1 cup fat-free whipped topping (sugar-free)
Instructions
1. Dissolve the Gelatin
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sugar-free strawberry gelatin and boiling water. Stir for at least 2 minutes until the powder is completely dissolved.
2. Chill and Mix
Whisk in the chilled unsweetened applesauce. Once combined, place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 15–20 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened slightly but is not set.
3. Fold in the Fluff
Gently fold in the sugar-free whipped topping using a spatula. Mix until the color is a uniform light pink and the texture is fluffy.
4. Portion and Set
Spoon the mixture into small individual cups, as seen in the image. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the mousse is firm.
5. Serve
Enjoy this guilt-free strawberry treat chilled. You can top it with a fresh strawberry slice for a decorative touch.
