• 1 cup Marinara or BBQ Sauce: Depending on your preferred flavor profile.
• 1 ½ cups Shredded Cheese: A blend of Mozzarella and Cheddar works perfectly.
• Optional Garnish: Freshly chopped parsley or red pepper flakes.
Instructions
1. Arrange: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the meatballs in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet or in a shallow baking dish.
2. Sauce: Top each meatball with a small spoonful of your chosen sauce.
3. Cheese: Generously sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of each meatball.
4. Bake: Place in the oven for 10–12 minutes. If you are using frozen pre-cooked meatballs, ensure they are heated through.
5. Broil: For an extra golden finish, turn the oven to the broiler setting for the last 1–2 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
6. Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately as an appetizer with toothpicks or as a main dish over pasta or rice.
