Ingredients
• 4 Eggs
• 130 g (1 cup) Flour
• 100 ml (½ cup) Milk
• 50 g (⅓ cup) Shredded Cheese: (Cheddar or Mozzarella work well).
• 1 Onion: Finely chopped.
• Ham: 150-200g, diced (based on the image).
• Mixed Vegetables: 1 cup total (diced bell peppers, corn, and green onions are shown).
• Seasoning: Salt, Paprika, and Black Pepper to taste.
• Vegetable Oil: For frying and greasing.
Preparation Method
1. Sauté the Base: Heat a little oil in a pan. Sauté the finely chopped onion and the diced bell peppers until they are slightly softened. If you are using raw ham, you can toss it in for a minute to brown it. Let them cool slightly.
2. Prepare the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk the 4 eggs with the milk. Season with salt, paprika, and black pepper.
3. Combine: Gradually whisk in the flour until the batter is smooth. Fold in the shredded cheese, the sautéed vegetables, the diced ham, and any extra greens (like green onions or corn).
4. Bake: Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan or glass baking dish.
5. Cook: Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Serve: Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. It’s delicious hot or at room temperature!
