Ingredients
• 3 ripe bananas
• 2 eggs
• 25g cocoa powder
• 5g baking powder (optional)
• Banana slices or nuts for decoration (optional)
Preparation
1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a standard loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
2. Mash Bananas: In a large bowl, mash the 3 ripe bananas until they reach a smooth, liquid-like consistency.
3. Mix Wet Ingredients: Add the 2 eggs to the mashed bananas and whisk until well combined.
4. Sift Dry Ingredients: Add the 25g of cocoa powder and the baking powder to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until the batter is a rich chocolate color and no clumps remain.
5. Decorate: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Top with extra banana slices or crushed nuts if desired.
6. Bake: Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Cool: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
