1/3 cup powdered zero-calorie sweetener
1/3 cup heavy cream (or unsweetened evaporated milk)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions
1. Prep the Tray: Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or wax paper.
2. Combine Base Ingredients: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar substitute, powdered sweetener, heavy cream, and sea salt.
3. Simmer & Thicken: Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring constantly for 3–5 minutes until it thickens slightly and reaches a smooth, glossy consistency.
4. Stir in Vanilla & Pecans: Remove the pan from heat and immediately stir in the pure vanilla extract and toasted pecan halves until all the pecans are coated.
5. Scoop & Set: Working quickly, drop spoonfuls of the pralines onto the prepared baking sheets. Top each mound with an extra pecan half for garnish if desired.
6. Cool & Enjoy: Allow the pralines to cool completely at room temperature for 20–30 minutes until set and firm. Store in an airtight container for holiday sharing!
