Easy No-Bake Banana Cream Pudding

Ingredients

1 box (1 oz) sugar-free instant banana cream (or vanilla) pudding mix

2 cups cold skim milk (or milk of choice)

1 tub (8 oz) light whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed

 3 medium ripe bananas, sliced

1 box vanilla wafers (Nilla wafers) or crushed graham crackers

 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Whisk Pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar-free instant pudding mix, cold skim milk, and vanilla extract for about 2 minutes until it starts to thicken.

2. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in half of the thawed light whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth and fluffy.

3. Layer the Dessert: In a large serving bowl or trifle dish, lay down a single layer of vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of banana slices, and top with half of the creamy pudding mixture. Repeat the layers with the remaining wafers, bananas, and pudding.

4. Top & Chill: Spoon the remaining whipped topping over the top layer. Garnish with additional banana slices and crushed vanilla wafer crumbs.

5. Serve: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the wafers to soften slightly before serving!
