Ingredients
• 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), sliced thin
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
Sauce:
• ⅓ cup soy sauce
• 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• ½ cup water or beef broth
• 1 tsp grated ginger (optional)
• ½ tsp black pepper

👩🍳 Instructions
1. Make the sauce
Whisk soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, water, ginger, and pepper. Set aside.
2. Cook the beef
Heat oil in a skillet or wok over high heat.
Sear beef quickly until browned. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook broccoli
In the same pan, add broccoli and a splash of water. Cover and steam 2–3 minutes until bright green.
4. Bring it together
Add garlic, return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce.
Simmer 2–3 minutes until thick and glossy.
5. Serve
Hot over rice or noodles 😍
