1-Minute Seeded Jar Bread

The 3 Core Ingredients

1. The Base: 1 cup Ground Flaxseeds (Flax meal) or Almond Flour.

2. The Binder: 2 Large Eggs (or ½ cup Greek Yogurt for a softer texture).

3. The Lift: 1 tsp Baking Powder.

• Optional: A handful of whole sunflower or pumpkin seeds for that extra crunch on top!

Preparation Steps

1. Mix: In a microwave-safe glass jar or small bowl, whisk the eggs (or yogurt) until smooth.

2. Combine: Stir in the ground flaxseeds/almond flour and baking powder until you have a thick, consistent paste. Fold in any extra whole seeds.

3. Cook: * Microwave: Cook on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes. The bread will rise and pull away from the edges of the jar.

Oven (as seen in the photo): Bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes until the top is golden and firm to the touch.

4. Slice: Let it cool for a minute, slide it out of the jar, and slice it into rounds.

Why This Is a “Power” Bread

Zero White Flour: By using seeds or nut flour, you avoid the high-carb spike of traditional bread, keeping your energy levels steady throughout the day.

Omega-3 Rich: Flaxseeds are one of the best plant-based sources of Omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for heart health and reducing inflammation.

Extreme Convenience: Since it can be made in a single jar in under 2 minutes, it removes any excuse for reaching for processed store-bought bread.
