Ingredients
• For the Fritters:
• 500g Ground chicken breast (minced).
• 1 Large egg (to bind).
• ½ cup Breadcrumbs (or almond flour for a low-carb version).
• 2 cloves Garlic, minced.
• 1 small Onion, very finely chopped.
• ½ cup Fresh parsley and cilantro, finely chopped.
• Seasoning: Salt, black pepper, paprika, and a pinch of ground ginger.
• 2 tbsp Olive oil (for cooking).
• For the Green Dipping Sauce:
• 1 cup Greek yogurt or Light mayonnaise.
• 1 tbsp Pesto sauce or finely minced fresh mint and cilantro.
• 1 tsp Lemon juice.
• Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
1. Mix: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped onion, garlic, herbs, and all the spices.
2. Bind: Add the egg and breadcrumbs. Mix well until the mixture holds its shape.
3. Shape: Form the mixture into medium-sized round patties (as seen in the image).
4. Cook:
• Pan-Fry: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for 5–7 minutes per side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
• Air Fryer/Oven: Lightly coat with oil and cook at 200°C for about 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5. Serve: Serve hot with the creamy green sauce on the side.
