Treat yourself to these fluffy, cheesy bites bursting with flavor, perfect as an appetizer or snack for any occasion!
Ingredients:
1 (16 oz) container refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
4 oz mozzarella cheese, either shredded or diced (string cheese works great)
4 tablespoons melted butter (half a stick)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Pinch of salt
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Biscuit Dough: Open the biscuit dough and separate it into 8 individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle, about 3-4 inches wide.
Add the Cheese: Place a small amount of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit. Be careful not to overfill.
Form the Cheese Bombs: Fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the cheese, pinching to seal tightly and form a ball. Ensure the cheese is completely enclosed.
Make the Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed.
Coat the Cheese Bombs: Place the cheese bombs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops generously with the garlic butter mixture.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese bombs are golden brown and puffed up.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish. Serve warm and enjoy these delicious bites!
