Classic Cheese Ball with Pecans and Pineapple

Ingredients:

2 cups cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup chopped green onions or chives
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Pineapple chunks, crackers, or vegetables for serving
Instructions:

Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Add in the drained crushed pineapple, chopped green onions or chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
Form the Cheese Ball:
Place the cheese mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap. Use the wrap to shape the mixture into a ball. Wrap it tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Coat with Pecans:
Once the cheese ball has firmed up, remove it from the refrigerator. Roll it in chopped pecans and finely chopped parsley (if using) until it is fully coated. Gently press the nuts into the cheese ball to help them stick.
Serve:
Place the cheese ball on a serving plate and surround it with pineapple chunks, crackers, or vegetable sticks. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Enjoy this delicious and easy-to-make cheese ball as a tasty appetizer at your next gathering!
