Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 packet (1 oz) dry onion soup mix
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Slow Cooker:
Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or lightly coat with oil to prevent sticking.
Assemble Ingredients:
Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, dry onion soup mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
Slow Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked through.
Add Cheese:
About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the chicken mixture. Cover and continue to cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Once done, give the mixture a gentle stir to combine the melted cheese.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Serve hot over rice, noodles, or with a side of vegetables.
