STUFFED SHELLS
Creamy Alfredo sauce envelops tender chicken and cheese-stuffed pasta shells for a comforting dish.
Ingredients:
12 jumbo pasta shells
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 cups Alfredo sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Stuff each pasta shell with the chicken and cheese mixture.
Spread 1/2 cup of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the stuffed shells in the dish.
Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the shells.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the sauce is bubbly.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
