Homemade Unicorn Lemonade
INGREDIENTS :
1.5 cups granulated white sugar
1.5 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice (from about 20–24 lemons)
9 cups water
2 tablespoons corn syrup
Unicorn or color-themed sprinkles
Food coloring: Pink, purple, teal
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the Lemonade Base:
Dissolve the sugar in 1.5 cups of water by heating it in a pot until it boils. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture turns into a simple syrup.
Allow the simple syrup to cool.
Mix the cooled simple syrup with the lemon juice and the remaining water (7.5 cups) in a large pitcher. Stir well to combine.
Make the Unicorn Ice Cubes:
Divide additional water into three portions, using separate bowls or cups for each.
Tint each portion with a few drops of pink, purple, and teal food coloring respectively. Stir until the color is evenly distributed.
Pour the colored water into ice cube trays and freeze until solid.
Prepare the Glasses:
Dip the rims of your glasses in corn syrup to lightly coat them.
Immediately dip the coated rims into a plate of unicorn or color-themed sprinkles to create a festive, colorful look.
Serve:
Fill the prepared glasses with the colorful ice cubes.
Pour the homemade lemonade over the ice cubes.
Serve immediately and enjoy the enchanting transformation as the ice cubes melt and color the lemonade.
