Easy Cheesy Stuffed Cabbage Rolls 

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs ground beef or turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 6–8 large cabbage leaves, chopped or layered
  • ½ cup cooked bacon or ham, chopped (optional)
  • Olive oil or butter for greasing

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix filling
    In a bowl, combine ground meat, onion, rice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and half the cheese.
  3. Assemble
    Form the mixture into large meatballs and place in the baking dish.
    Top with chopped cabbage and bacon/ham if using.
  4. Bake
    Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
    Remove foil, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden.
  5. Serve
    Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
