Ingredients
- 500 g cabbage, finely shredded
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 eggs
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour (about 60 g)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika (optional, but tasty)
- ½ tsp baking powder (optional – extra fluffiness)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the cabbage
- Place shredded cabbage in a bowl.
- Sprinkle with salt and gently squeeze it with your hands to release excess moisture.
- Drain any liquid.
2️⃣ Make the batter
- Add onions and garlic to the cabbage.
- Mix in eggs, flour, pepper, paprika, and baking powder (if using).
- Stir until everything is well combined.
👉 The mixture should be thick but scoopable.
3️⃣ Fry
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Spoon portions into the pan and gently flatten.
- Fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels.
Creamy Yogurt Dip (Optional but AMAZING)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- Salt to taste
- Paprika or chili flakes on top
