Creamy Cheese-Filled Yogurt 

Ingredients

Bread batter:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter (or oil)

Cheese filling:

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella (or mozzarella + cheddar mix)
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Optional: pinch of garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Set oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. Make the batter
    • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
    • In another bowl, whisk eggs, yogurt, milk, and melted butter.
    • Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed (don’t overmix).
  3. Prepare cheese filling
    Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, egg, salt, and garlic powder until smooth.
  4. Assemble the loaf
    • Pour half the bread batter into the pan
    • Spread all the cheese filling evenly
    • Cover with the remaining batter
  5. Bake
    Bake for 45–50 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out mostly clean (cheese may be slightly gooey).
  6. Cool slightly & slice
    Let rest 10–15 minutes before slicing for that perfect melt.
