Healthy Banana Oat Chocolate Chip Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup nut butter (peanut or almond)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (dark or milk)

  1. Preheat oven
    Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    In a bowl, combine mashed bananas, nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla.
  3. Add dry ingredients
    Stir in oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips
    Gently mix in chocolate chips.
  5. Bake
    Spread evenly in the pan.
    Bake 25–30 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
  6. Cool & slice
    Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
