Bacon and Tomato Sandwich (Simple, Crispy, and Fresh)

Crispy bacon, juicy ripe tomatoes, and toasted bread come together for a quick sandwich that’s crunchy, creamy, and full of flavor. Perfect for lunch or a light dinner!

Ingredients (Makes 2 sandwiches)

  • 6–8 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • 4 slices sandwich bread, toasted
  • 2–4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon
    Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat (or bake at 200°C/400°F for 15–20 minutes) until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Toast and spread
    Toast the bread, then spread mayonnaise on one or both sides.
  3. Assemble
    Add lettuce (optional), then layer tomato slices. Sprinkle tomatoes with salt and black pepper. Top with crispy bacon.
  4. Serve
    Close the sandwich, slice in half, and enjoy immediately.
