Ingredients
• Chicken Breasts: 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
• The Silky Topper: 1 cup of heavy cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version).
• Flavor Mix: 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 2 cloves of minced garlic.
• Seasoning: 1 tablespoon of sun-dried tomato pesto (gives it that pink color), red pepper flakes, and dried oregano.
Instructions
1. Prep: Preheat your oven to 190°C and place the raw chicken breasts in a glass casserole dish.
2. Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, pesto, and seasonings (as seen in your image).
3. Pour: Pour the “silky topper” mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
4. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling and golden on top.
5. Serve: This is best served over a bed of pasta or with a side of crusty bread to dip into that delicious sauce.
Benefits
• High-Quality Protein: Chicken breast is one of the best sources of lean protein, which is essential for muscle building and feeling full.
• Bone Health: The Parmesan and cream provide a good amount of calcium, supporting bone density.
• Immune Boost: Garlic is known for its natural antibiotic properties and its ability to help fight off seasonal colds.
• Metabolism Support: The red pepper flakes contain Capsaicin, which can slightly boost your metabolism and help with digestion.
