Healthy Banana Oat Cookies (No Sugar, No Flour)

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ⅓ cup applesauce (unsweetened)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup almond milk (or any milk)
  • ¼ cup raisins or chopped nuts
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks (optional, sugar-free if preferred)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven

  • Set oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Mash & mix wet ingredients

  • In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  • Stir in applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla.

3️⃣ Add dry ingredients

  • Mix in oats, cinnamon, raisins or nuts, and chocolate chunks.
  • Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Let the mixture rest 5 minutes so oats absorb moisture.

4️⃣ Shape cookies

  • Scoop about 2 tablespoons per cookie onto the baking sheet.
  • Flatten slightly (they won’t spread much).

5️⃣ Bake

  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.

6️⃣ Cool & enjoy

  • Let cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
  • They firm up more as they cool.

Tips

✨ For crunchier cookies: bake 2–3 minutes longer

✨ For softer cookies: slightly underbake

✨ Add coconut flakes or peanut butter for variety
