Ingredients
Cheese Filling
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup shredded cheddar or parmesan
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Coating
- ½ cup almond flour (low-carb option)
or - ½ cup breadcrumbs (not zero-carb)
Instructions
- Mix the filling
- In a bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar/parmesan, cream cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until fully combined (use hands if needed).
- Shape
- Roll mixture into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each).
- Coat
- Roll each ball lightly in almond flour (or breadcrumbs).
- Bake
- Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Place balls evenly spaced.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and crispy.
OR Air Fry
- Air fry at 190°C / 375°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Serve
- Let cool slightly (cheese is HOT inside 😋)
- Serve plain or with garlic yogurt dip, marinara, or ranch.
Tips
✔ For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil
✔ Add chili flakes for heat
✔ Works great with parmesan only for firmer balls
✔ Store in fridge up to 3 days & reheat in air fryer
