Ingredients
- 200 g (¾ cup + 2 tbsp) unsalted butter, softened
- 100 g (½ cup) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 260 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour

- Cream butter & sugar
In a bowl, beat the softened butter with powdered sugar until light and creamy. - Add flavor
Mix in vanilla extract. - Combine dry ingredients
In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. - Make the dough
Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Mix until a soft dough forms. - Shape cookies
Roll dough into small balls, flatten slightly, or cut with a cookie cutter. - Bake
- Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F)
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until bottoms are lightly golden (tops stay pale).
- Cool & enjoy
