Ingredients
Crust
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup melted butter
Creamy Layer
- 2 (8 oz / 225 g) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups whipped topping (Cool Whip) or whipped heavy cream
Topping
- 1 can (21 oz / 595 g) cherry pie filling
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the crust
- Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter
- Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish
- Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes
2️⃣ Make the cheesecake layer
- Beat cream cheese until smooth
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix well
- Gently fold in whipped topping until fluffy
3️⃣ Assemble
- Spread cheesecake mixture evenly over the chilled crust
- Spoon cherry pie filling on top and spread gently
4️⃣ Chill
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours (overnight is best)
- Slice and serve cold
