Bread in 10 Minutes (No Oven, No Yeast)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour (about 480 g)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (220 g)
  • ¾ cup water (200 ml, warm)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1–2 tbsp oil (for cooking)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the dough

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder
  • Add yogurt and water
  • Mix with a spoon, then knead lightly by hand until a soft, smooth dough forms
    👉 If sticky, add a little flour

2️⃣ Rest

  • Cover the dough
  • Let it rest 5 minutes (this makes it softer)

3️⃣ Shape

  • Divide dough into small balls (about palm-size)
  • Roll each ball into a flat circle (about ½ cm thick)

4️⃣ Cook (no oven!)

  • Heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat
  • Lightly brush with oil
  • Cook each bread 2–3 minutes per side
  • Flip when bubbles appear and golden spots form

5️⃣ Serve

  • Brush with butter if desired
  • Serve hot and soft 😍
