Ingredients
• 2 thick slices bologna (beef or pork)
• 1 hamburger bun (or white bread)
• 1 tbsp butter (or mayo for the bun)
• Optional but 🔥:
• 1 slice American or cheddar cheese
• Mustard, ketchup, or mayo
• Pickles or onions

Instructions
1. Prep the bologna
Cut 4 small slits around the edges of each bologna slice (prevents curling).
2. Fry it up
Heat a skillet over medium heat (no oil needed).
Add bologna and cook 2–3 minutes per side until deeply browned, crispy edges, and bubbling fat.
3. Toast the bun
Butter the cut sides of the bun and toast in the same pan until golden.
4. Melt the cheese (optional but encouraged)
Add cheese on top of bologna in the pan, cover for 30 seconds until melty.
5. Assemble immediately
Bologna → cheese → sauce → bun.
Eat while standing, preferably over the sink.
