Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3–4 tablespoons powdered sweetener (erythritol or monk fruit, powdered)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

1️⃣ Combine ingredients

  • In a saucepan, add:
    • Heavy cream
    • Butter
    • Powdered sweetener

2️⃣ Heat gently

  • Place over low heat.
  • Stir constantly until butter melts and sweetener fully dissolves.
  • Do NOT boil.

3️⃣ Simmer & thicken

  • Keep on low heat and let it gently simmer for 25–35 minutes.
  • Stir every 2–3 minutes to prevent sticking.
  • Mixture will slowly reduce and thicken.

4️⃣ Check consistency

  • When it coats the back of a spoon, it’s ready.
  • Remember: it thickens more as it cools.

5️⃣ Cool & store

  • Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  • Pour into clean jars and refrigerate.
