Ingredients
- 12 oz shell pasta (or any short pasta)
- 1 lb beef (steak bites or ground beef)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
👩🍳 Instructions (Simple & Detailed)
1️⃣ Cook the pasta
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2️⃣ Cook the beef
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add beef, season with salt & pepper.
- Sear until browned and cooked.
- Remove beef and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the sauce
- In the same pan, add onion and cook until soft.
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Pour in beef broth and cream.
- Add paprika and chili flakes.
- Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
4️⃣ Combine
- Add cooked pasta and beef back to the pan.
- Stir gently.
- Add mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Add a splash of pasta water if needed for creaminess.
5️⃣ Finish & serve
- Cook 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
