Creamy Beef & Shell Pasta 

Ingredients

  • 12 oz shell pasta (or any short pasta)
  • 1 lb beef (steak bites or ground beef)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

👩‍🍳 Instructions (Simple & Detailed)

1️⃣ Cook the pasta

  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
  • Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

2️⃣ Cook the beef

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add beef, season with salt & pepper.
  • Sear until browned and cooked.
  • Remove beef and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the sauce

  • In the same pan, add onion and cook until soft.
  • Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  • Pour in beef broth and cream.
  • Add paprika and chili flakes.
  • Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

4️⃣ Combine

  • Add cooked pasta and beef back to the pan.
  • Stir gently.
  • Add mozzarella and Parmesan.
  • Add a splash of pasta water if needed for creaminess.

5️⃣ Finish & serve

  • Cook 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
