Cheesy Stuffed Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

• 3 cups all-purpose flour

• 2¼ tsp instant yeast

• 1 tbsp sugar

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 cup warm milk

• 3 tbsp melted butter

• 1 egg

• 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

• 1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk (for brushing)

1. Make the dough

In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Knead until soft and smooth.

Cover and let rise 1 hour or until doubled.

2. Shape & fill

Divide dough into equal balls.

Flatten each slightly, add a spoon of cheese inside, seal, and shape into rolls.

3. Second rise

Place rolls on a greased baking tray. Cover and rest 20 minutes.

4. Bake

Brush with egg wash.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden and bubbly.

5. Serve
