Cheesy Ground Beef Tortilla Wraps

Ingredients

  • 4–6 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2–3 tbsp tomato sauce or pizza sauce
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil (for brushing)

  1. Cook the filling
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with onion until browned.
    • Add garlic, paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Stir in tomato sauce and cook 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  2. Assemble
    • Lay a tortilla flat.
    • Spread a thin layer of the beef mixture evenly.
    • Sprinkle generously with cheese and herbs.
  3. Roll it up
    • Roll the tortilla tightly into a log (like a wrap or burrito).
  4. Bake or pan-fry
    • Brush with melted butter or oil.
    • Oven: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy

    • Pan: Cook on a skillet, turning until all sides are golden.
  5. Serve
    • Slice in half and serve hot. Great with sour cream, garlic sauce, or a fresh salad.
