Ingredients
- 4–6 large flour tortillas
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 2–3 tbsp tomato sauce or pizza sauce
- Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil (for brushing)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Cook the filling
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with onion until browned.
- Add garlic, paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in tomato sauce and cook 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Assemble
- Lay a tortilla flat.
- Spread a thin layer of the beef mixture evenly.
- Sprinkle generously with cheese and herbs.
- Roll it up
- Roll the tortilla tightly into a log (like a wrap or burrito).
- Bake or pan-fry
- Brush with melted butter or oil.
- Oven: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy
OR - Pan: Cook on a skillet, turning until all sides are golden.
- Serve
- Slice in half and serve hot. Great with sour cream, garlic sauce, or a fresh salad.
