Garlic Butter Scallops & Lobster Tail
Ingredients:
For Scallops:
- 10 large sea scallops
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- Fresh parsley (chopped)
- Lemon wedges (for garnish)
For Lobster Tail:
- 2 lobster tails
- 3 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1 tsp garlic (minced)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- Paprika (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare Lobster Tails:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell of the lobster tail to expose the meat.
- Gently lift the meat over the shell.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Brush the lobster meat with the butter mixture.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden top.
Sear the Scallops:
- Pat scallops dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add scallops in a single layer; sear 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to low, add butter and garlic.
- Spoon the melted garlic butter over the scallops for 1 minute.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
