Garlic Butter Scallops & Lobster Tail

Ingredients:

For Scallops:

  • 10 large sea scallops
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Lemon wedges (for garnish)

For Lobster Tail:

  • 2 lobster tails
  • 3 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Paprika (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare Lobster Tails:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell of the lobster tail to expose the meat.
  3. Gently lift the meat over the shell.
  4. Mix melted butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Brush the lobster meat with the butter mixture.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
  7. Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden top.

Sear the Scallops:

  1. Pat scallops dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add scallops in a single layer; sear 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Reduce heat to low, add butter and garlic.
  6. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the scallops for 1 minute.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley.
